Little N just fell asleep, so finally got some time to write.
Yesterday I was at the shop again and was quiet and easy day through out the day. Fed the birds and new water. Helped some customers with advice on food for dogs and litterbox for cats. For the rest it was mostly cleaning up the shells and waited for a delivery with items that got super delyed. But it was a fun day!
Today we had a Birthday celebratation for one of the kids here at Ivans moms daycare, who turned 2. So lots of dancing and throwing balloons up in the air. We also went for a walk in the morning as the sun shined and saw the Swan family again. For the rest it has been a relaxing day and Ivan went into night shifts again and monday I will be back at the store.

Today I decided to turn in the assignment about the pet food. Feels bit relived now. Just need to wait for the result in a couple of weeks. Always bit nervousing waiting… but they say the once who wait, wait for something good in the end.
Today I also managed to write bit more about the ferrets and I find it more and more interesting and also learning more about them. So feels i have come really far in just two days, working on it! Will continue tomorrow a bit more.
Today the plan was to go to the indoor playground today, but our little princess decided on taking a really long nap this noon, so the time wouldn’t be enough. Life of a parent, somedays the plans dont go as they were planed. But, that is alright, we are going to the indoor playground on Thursday instead in the morning instead. As ivan today came home from a night shift and had a dentist appointment in the morning. So hopefully we can go on Thursday! I look really forward to that!
Tomorrow, Wednesday, we are going to swim with Norah in the indoor swimmingpool! Last time we were there was Last year around this time… so we are very excited!! Also tomorrow in the noon i am going to the pet shop again to talk more about my internship starting next week! Also really excited!
Lots of things happening right now and very busy times a head, but also very fun and exciting!!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well and hope the weekend was good.
This weekend we spend a lot time on pokemon go catching a lot of the legendary pokemons! I grew up with pokemon on the TV, the movie and the pokemon cards. So yesterday felt a bit nostagic with all of the legendary pokemons! So I am happy with the result!
But the whole weekend went super Quick, like always… and today Ivan went to work at noon and works till late evening. But on Wednesday i go back yo the pet shop, so really excited for that. Also planning on doing lot of studying this week as I have 4 assignments due to 8th of august. Hopefully i will manage to get them all done in time.

Today at Lunch I started on my next assignment due on the 8th! This one is a web education about the working environment in retails, logistics and customers service offices. Didn’t get very far as the little girl woke up after 50 min of sleep… life of a parent^^.
Lucky she just fell asleep really quick, so now I get to continue it bit more. Ivan went to work and tomorrow I work by the pet shop again, where I internship! Excited to be back again!

Today I finally managed to finish my two assignments about hygiene and risk of infections, that is due this sunday!! Feels soo good to have already handed them in and can breath out alittle.
However, it isn’t over yet! I still have about 3 assignments due all on the 8th of august and one due on the 15th. Hopefully I will manage to get them done in time. With a little planning.
I did already go through them and have a somewhat plan in my head in which order to do them. But tomorrow I’m going to write down the plan of what is left and so on. Will make it easier for my head and myself to see it infront of me. Do you also write down planes for what to do? Or how do you plan things when it comes to deadlines or in general? Please let me know down below in the comments! We can all learn from each other!
Oh and today our daughter fell asleep without any crying, shouting or resisting her sleep! So it goes in the right direction! And the last two nights she slept from 9.15 PM to 07.30 AM and that without any wake up! I’m so proud of our little girl!!

I have already started on my new assignments in hygiene and risk of infections. The assignment is about collecting imformation and facts about hygien rituals and how to prevent risk of infection in a pet shop. Both for pets in the shop, for the workers and for the customers. And with that information, write a sort of handout on how I would like these things to follows in a store and write like everyone in a shop can understand both workers and customers.
It’s quiet interesting and hopefully this can later be very useful for when I have my own store or a manager.
Just wanted to step by and say Hi and share a little with you about my new assignment. Seems the little have woken up now.. so hopefully can continue later or in the evening.

A little reminder and motivation to get you through the day.
So I just went through all the assignments that I have to work with during the summer and its quiet a bit. But, I’m sure I will manage to get them done and hoping to done with them quickly so I have more free time during the summer. As I have no summer vacation from school as this is a higher grown up education (not University or collauge). It’s like an upper high school/gymnasium level but for grown ups.
But I am quiet excited about the different assignments about different field in pet care, Service knowledge, hygien risk and procedures, etc. I am eager to learn more and gain more knowledge and to share my experiences.
So here’s to knowledge is power!

I’m home after a couple of hours work at the pet shop and it was a very good work day. Got to learn more about cashier-system and help customers with products and recommendation. Also got to talk bit more with the owner about my internship in the summer. Which I look very forward to! And I hope by the end of this all I get employment there. It is a really nice team, shop and the owner is great!
So I have high hopes for the future and also have to step up learning more dutch! I understand it more than I can speak it.
Best part of the day is of course coming home and see my family and how happy Norah gets when I come home. Pure joy to see.
Now time for dinner and some family time before little norah goes bed!

Phew, finally I can take a deep breath and relax a bit before heading to bed…
Our daughter finally fell asleep after hours of fighting it… she still not doing well with fever going up and down.. poor thing. And all she wants is mommy, mommy… so days like these it takes lots of enegy of one. Lucky Ivan was free so he could help out here and there after, he woke up from his nap, as he had night shift last night.
However on the plus side, I did managed to hand in both of my assignments today. So a little bit of positive energy and feeling today!
The one assignment was about; how to approach a strange dog and owner in a pet shop and try out a har harness, lifewest or a raincoat (was a video recorded play we had to do in class) and after answer question regarding the dogs signals, what they ment and how we could do things differently. Quite interesting to study and see the responses from the dog and how to apply it later in real life.
The other assignment was about some regulations and laws according to care of dogs and cats, how to take care of them, and if they in a dog yard outside how big one is allowed to be and etc. Was also very interesting and educational to learn.
So I am happy that even today was a hard day with Norah crying and wanting to be carry the whole time, that I managed to send in both of the assignments today, so the rest of weekend I can fully focus on her and the family. Then, we have some summer assignments do spread out over the summer to do before we head out to our internship place! Which I look very forward too!
But overall the day been good, but tiring and Ivan made Tacos for dinner, which was really nice. We hope that Norah sleeps through the night and that tomorrow feels a lot better!
Also want to wish all a happy Midsummer!!! the longest day of the year, which was last weekend, however in sweden this year, the celebratation are this weekend, so werid. Anyways hope you all had a great day for those who celebrate it and for those who doesn’t I hope you had a great friday and start on the weekend!
For me the day didn’t go as fully planed with the studies… our little girl was very attached to me the whole day and only slept 45 min in total during the day. She normally sleeps 1 time a day an around 1 h to 1,5 hrs. We think a new pair of teeth is coming as she chew alot on her hands. It’s so hard and frustrating when they are so little and can’t fully say whats bothering them and you feel so powerless as you don’t know what to do at times. She finally managed to fall asleep around 10 PM, normally she sleeps between 8.30-9.15 PM. So we hope she tomorrow feels better.
For the rest I have came up with another splendid idea that I want to do in time and that is to start make my own dog collors and toys for dogs and cats. So I was watching some tutorials on Youtube for inspiration and hope to soon learn how to do it myself. Do you do any handcrafts or other hobbies? Would love to hear them so we can inspire each other!
Anyways, The day been good overall and lots of thinking and planning in the head. Now we look forward to 4 days off for Ivan (after his night shift today) and the weekend with the Swedish Midsummer. So we will see what the weekend brings! But I am excited to spend time with my family!
Tomorrow a new day arrives, breath out the old and breath in the new. Remember you are a step closer to your dream than you were yesterday.
